Our commitment
Clineo builds websites for healthcare practices, and healthcare is for everyone — including people who navigate the web with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion. This site is our reference implementation: it is built to the same accessibility standard we deliver to clients, and this statement describes that standard honestly.
Conformance target
Our floor is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. We adopt Level AAA criteria wherever practical — and for a services site like this one, most are practical. In particular, body text targets the AAA contrast ratio of 7:1 in both themes.
What that means in practice
- Semantic structure throughout: real headings in order, real lists, real buttons, real form labels, and landmark regions with a skip-to-content link.
- Everything works by keyboard alone — navigation, the theme toggle, and every form — with a clearly visible focus indicator and no keyboard traps.
- Light and dark themes of equal quality, each tested independently against every contrast requirement. A passing light theme never excuses a failing dark one.
- Text resizes to 200 percent without losing content or function, and layouts reflow without horizontal scrolling.
- Nothing autoplays, nothing flashes, and nothing moves unless you ask it to. Animation respects your reduced-motion preference.
- Form errors are described in text next to the field and announced to screen readers — never signaled by color alone.
How we test
Automated scanning is our floor, not our proof. Every page is checked with automated accessibility tooling, and beyond that we commit to manual testing: a full keyboard-only walkthrough of the site, and screen-reader sessions using NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on mobile Safari, including every form. Both themes go through the full contrast checks separately.
Known limitations
Honesty matters more than a perfect scorecard. This is a new site, and while it launched against the standard above, new pages and features are added regularly and something can slip through between audits. If anything on this site doesn’t work with your assistive technology — a control you can’t reach, text you can’t read, a form you can’t complete — we want to know, and we will fix it.
Report a problem
Email hello@clineo.tech with the page address and a description of what happened. Accessibility reports go to the front of the queue: we’ll acknowledge your message within two business days and tell you what we’re doing about it. You can also use the form on our contact page.
